BASIC REQUIREMENTS

The Soul of the Cello is a solo performance by cellist Eugene Friesen. The concert includes masks, the use of pre-recorded sounds, some on-stage electronics, speaking, and both acoustic and electronic cellos. The house gear we request is as follows:

1. 3 chairs - preferably flat-bottomed and armless

2. access to grounded electrical outlet on stage

3. Direct Input box for interfacing with house PA

4. cello mic (Sennheiser M441 or the equivalent) on boom stand

5. vocal mic on boom stand

6. one stage monitor

7. CD player at audio board

Lighting:
To enhance the performance we request:
1. 3 general washes - bright/warm - blue - purple

2. 3 specials - bright/warm - red - green

Miscellaneous:
1. table in lobby for CD sales

2. water and tea backstage

3. backstage dinner is much appreciated, (Suggested: chicken or fish with rice, green salad)
